Fishing with Jurassic Sport Fishing

We went out with Captain Vince from Jurassic Sport Fishing yesterday. There were four of us in total: Vince, Al, Rodger and Myself. After a quick ride to one of Al's spots, we stopped and instantly it was on. On my first drop I got bit and landed a 11 lb. ling using one of our new experimental 50cal Cod Rounds! (coming next year)

We drifted the area for a while with everyone bringing in rock cod and Al landing a few other lings.

We made a quick move to where Al said is full of "Cabezon and big reds/coppers", and was he right! From the start we had multiple hookups leading to 2 big reds and even a triple hookup that resulted in 2 large coppers and a ling! Rodger caught the biggest sand dab I've ever seen, and I caught my first Cabezon.

On the way in we stopped at one of Vince's ling spots and again the bite was instantaneous. I landed another big ling and Al brought up 3!

The whole day Vince and Al put us on fish. It was a great time on the water with good people! In all our boat landed 7 lings, 2 big red and 2 coppers, 1 cabezon, a sand dab, and a boat full of rock cod!

Our Cod Rounds were responsible for a 11 lb. and 8 lb. ling, a 22" cabezon, 1 big copper, and a handful of gopher rock cod.
